About INMC 2020
The conference will celebrate International Nurses Day for the year 2020, which aligns with the World Health Organization theme for celebrating International Nurses Day (IND) as: “Year of the Nurse and Midwife”. "Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization declared at the 72nd World Health Assembly in Geneva in 201 9. "WHO is proud to nominate 2020 as the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife. These two health professions are invaluable to the healed of people everywhere".
The conference will be held from 16th to 18th April 2020 under the Patronage of H.E Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health, and the auspices of Ms. Faeqa Al Saleh, The Minister of Health and Professor Dr. Riyadh Hamza, the President of the University of Bahrain.
This conference will be one of the most exciting opportunities for nurses and midwives for sharing their achievements and contributions to the profession in areas of education, clinical practice, evidence-based practice, policy and strategy, innovation in research and meeting Sustainable Development Goals.
The conference will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain for three days includes workshops concurrent sessions and scientific workshops for nurses and midwives.
